Hi everybody. I'm looking to buy a 1998 Checkmate Convincor GTX with 140 hrs on it . I had it surveyed friday and the results were mostly above average. Two negitves though. 1.) The forward bulkhead below the v-berth is showing elevated moisture but good sounds. Where and what is a bulkhead and should I worry about it. 2.) The cap frame to starboard of the engine has elevated moisture, but has good sounds. Other than that the rest of the boat is flawless. Any input would be helpful.

Welcome to the board. Not sure how the forward bulkhead would get moisture maybe from a weeping bow light or possibley the bow rails. Or possible being stored bow down. But, im definatley not an epert on the boat. Id asked COOPERIDER for his oppinion on that. good luck , Aaron
