Could use some help

I bought a 1984 Enchanter 21' OB 200 HP mercury black Max and I am having a couple of problems. There is a warning alarm that will not shut off. Any suggestions??? Overheats at high speed but temp lowers to normal at idle or slow speed???? here's what I have done tonight. I got the Bilge pump working( disconnected wire.) Horn working socket for fuse rusty.Fuel guage the needle goes below empty when u turn switch,wires seem to be good and grounded. Great boat want to keep a long time and want get back to as original as I can afford. Last time it was used a year ago no problems. Look forward to any help or suggestions available. Also need to find service in Knooxville TN. Love BoatI have looking and wanting one for a long time.Would like manuals or someone to talk to..Kids want to enjoy our new toy tomorrow. Cell 8654053309

If your over heating under power.. look @ the water pump impeller in the gear case.... replace it.. if the housings are melted @ all replace them & new gaskets check you t stats for proper 143Deg operation.. use a thermomiter & the kitchen stove to get to 143Deg.. see if they open.... Kurt
