New Checkmate Owner

Hi I'm Jake. I bought a 2001 Pursader 218 about 3 months ago. I changed the oil, new plugs & coil and man this thing runs like a top. Hauls major ass and pegs the speedo at 80+ with ease. I know that's not GPS, but I have run a few buddies on their ski's who have GPS's their speed and she's topping out in the 75mph range with a full tank and 4 people. Anyway I live in Panama City FL and hit up Shell Island and Crab Island in Destin all the time. I don't see too many Checkmate's on the water, but look forward to. Oh yeah she's got a 7.4 MPI with a Bravo I drive. Not sure which 7.4 it is, but I think the hp output in 300-330. Anyone know for sure and what's the tq? Has a 4 blade 25 * props, only mod is a GIL exhaust..still running the factory manifold's.

Thanks. I have been around boats pretty much my entire life (west coast) and I had never heard of Checkmate. I did my research and I'm very happy with the purchase. Boat handles great the faster I go:thumb:
