I have finally started installing the new floor.
I want to thank everyone for the help and encouragement!!

How many layers of cloth/resin is recommended on all of the seams?

When I did my floor I layed down 3 layers, each one was a bit wider than the next. Make sure to rough the up a bit to give the next layer a chance to get a good bite.

three layers of CSM is good for all seams. Be sure if you have a seam on the surface to taper the joint so when the glass and resin are on the joint it ends up sitting level(if you don't you will notice the seams under the carpet).
On the sides, use a structual putty to fillet the joint for extra strength and a smoother floor.

Well, thanks to all of you, I not only kept the boat, but finished the floor!!
I am planning to put it in the water on Saturday!

Can't wait!
Will post some pictures here of the finished interior.
