Another new member here. I don't currently own a checkmate right now, but my first 2 boats have been checkmates. The first was a 85 16' predictor with a 135 merc than ran in the mid 60s and my last one was a 87 21' enchanter with a 200 mariner that also ran in the mid 60s. I am hoping to get back into one in the near future, as funds are available, so I can get back out and have some more fun!

I don't think I will have a problem finding a good enough boat, I just need to find the money, then I will be happier again to get out on the water.
