I'm looking for a 70's project jet boat with no motor or a blown motor that is about 18' to 21" long. I don't really want the kind of boat that has an exposed engine. An engine under a hatch or in a dog house will work best for my 3 & 1/2 year old. I would love to find a Jetmate but "good luck" I have seen several boats that are really cool. I like most of the small day cruisers. I may even want to just go on and buy a turn key ride if the price is good. I check on S&F and on E-bay all the time but that's about the only places I look other than some good old back roads truck rides lookig for that perfect field boat or barn boat. Thanks Fred.

He'd take $150 for it. Late 70's or early 80's Jetmate with no interior or motor. Has the pump parts. Black/silver metal flake. Had the engine cowling, been some modification to it. You want a PROJECT, here it is. 5 minutes from my house. BDusted440 was supposed to come get it, but he found another project instead. BOAT HAS NO HULL ID NUMBER, SO IF YOUR STATE HAS A PROBLEM WITH THAT, YOU'LL HAVE TO REGISTER AS A 'HOME BUILT' BOAT.

It has no engine no motor mounts no gas tank and the pump may need rebuilt. Needs stringers floor rewired all new gauges hardware controlls and steering. Needs every thing inside replaced except the seat mounts and grab bar. Trailer needed 4 tires 4 rims and lights installed to get home from NC. Trailer needs a bow support a wench and a jack. Now for the good things. The hull is in nice shape and the wife seems to like it:thumb:

Was thinking 454 but I have my eye on an abandon sidewinder way out in the sticks that has a 455 pack-a jet in it. The property owner said that he is giong to auction it off to try and recoop some of his 4 years of lost storage fees.
