I have a Square tapered wheel off my 1980 predictor that I dont plan on reusing because the twin cable nfb rotory that i am using on my boat is a 3/4 round taper.

I guess it depends on what you want. Grant makes a marine adapter kit for a 3/4" tapered shaft. Then you can buy a cheap Grant wheel that looks just like my factory wheel for about $30 at any auto parts store. I'm not sure what the spokes on those are made of. My wheel looks great so I'm assuming they are stainless, but the center cap was rusty, so apparently the cap was just a standard chromed steel one. I bought a new center The cheap wheel may not last 30 years, but it's cheap and easy. Maybe Grant used to make that wheel in stainless.

If you still have the old square shaft, you may have to buy a used wheel from someone.
