ive got a 85 enchanter with a 75 4-stroke merk turning a four blade beaver, i mean cleaver, and i cant seem to get beat by a 3litre. im tired of waiting to go fast, and getting embarrased by this 75 hp motor on my check. my 21 foot check wont chine on flat water, and only goes faster when more friends get in the back seat. only thing holding the motor on is a 10" jack attached to whats left of the bodyfiller. its not a checkmate, its a crackmate. im ready to sell it cause its too much fun, wont throw a rooster tail, wont chine walk, and only goes as fast as the motor cover says. nobody speaks to me or thanks me for the 3 minute ride anymore, and they sit there and bang their knees together and claim they cant find their landlegs. felt guilty after i knocked my friends sunglasses off with his eyeballs. thought that damn 4stroke would do better than a gallon a minute, and i still mixed oil. thats what i get for not spending big money on boats. damn cover cost me a hundred dollars. and somebody bent the edge of my prop and caused it to
grab more water and slow my rpms to 7400. im so embarrased.

Great looking boat, I just went through an enchanter resto, 200 merc, the boat flys...I'm curious how strong you think the deck is, my bost feels solid, no rot in core ect. but the deck has "jelly deck" when you hit a wake hard. Please post your thoughts after you run your boat. You seem to be the glass guy that would have some good ideas in that direction.

The deck does move when hitting a wake but I walk on it all the time with little to no flex. The deck should not be that week they are cored and have a nice size rib running the length. If you have some flex make a template of the bottom and make a stronger rib down the middle and glass it in.:thumb:
