Hey Guys,

I am starting to look around for a 13' Boston Whaler for my wife. She wants one to putt around the lake with my son while I am off working. I am all for supporting her interest in boats.

I am looking for one with or without power. I would perfer to find an older one that needs some work. I wanted to keep it under 3K. Let me know if you come accross any. I would prefer to find something local but if its a great deal than I am willing to drive a bit.

Thanks

There was a nice one in Concord, MA on craigslist with a 25 johnson for $2900. It was long gone when I called.

wow that looks like a nice deal. Thanks BP I will give him a call.

Last week I was driving by a marina up here in VT and I saw a 16' whaler so I stopped in and askes them if they had any others. THey told me they just got in a 13' whaler on a trade. They said it was in rough shape (thats a good thing). It was a 1974 that needed a ton of work. The motor was a 1990 30hp yamaha. The trailer was dead on it. It probably wouldnt make it out of the parking lot. She told me $4,900:eyecrazy: I asked if they would sell just the boat, $2500:eyecrazy: . Needless to say I walked away pretty quick on that one. The whaler in the link you send me is in much better condition for a fraction of the price.

there were several on the lake when I was young with 40's. I use to race them all the time in my GW Invader

I am sure that a G W INVADER can handle those speeds better thena whaler.
I hope

I would like to own an Invader on day.
