I need help setting up a 2000 283 Convincor w/twin 454 mag MPI's. I'm looking for prop and drive alignment recomendations. My local dealer is not in the Checkmate business any more. What dealer has the most experience in getting the best performance out of our boats? I have done alot of testing on props and adjustments and need further advice. Thanks!!!

We have a lot of experience with these boats. Let me know what props you are running now and rpm's at wot. As far as alignment, are you talking about drive width tow in or out? If you have any other questions list them as well or send me an e-mail.

I am in Georgia, but I'm looking for anyone I can call. I have talked to Checkmate directly and they gave me a starting point. These boats have been advertised to run 80 mph gps, I have not seen more than 73.5gps. I have not talked to anyone with a 283/300 Convincor that has seen 80mph in stock form. Thanks! Jeff I will email you with my info on the testing I have been doing, maybe you can see something I am missing.
