hey erik...its off the dyno and was being dressed yesterday ,haven't heard final numbers yet. expect to pick it up this week and start putting this thing back together.lots of other projects underway besides boat unfortunately. you'll be in before i am .....

should be running on the "hose" tomorrow . not putting it in til its clean . probably at least another week or so. 9 to 1 compression so 89 octane . and it was broke in on the dyno . however , still need a prop and steering so in no hurry to get on it other than maybe sit in it and have a few . lots of chit floating in the water yet ." tomorrow soon come "

yep . single plane dart , 850 demon (barry grant casting). no on the weekend . about another week til i get it wet ! how about you ? i can't beleive you ain't curious.

NO I GOT TO CHANGE THE TRIM SENDING UNITS. BROKE ALL 4 BOLTS . NOTHING LIKE WAITING TILL THE LAST MINUTE . WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY CURIOUS?

Get yourself some quality bits to drill those little buggers out. I think you could go a little bigger on the screw if you had to. Good luck

eric,,,nope , the heads are the big deal . air flow research .cnc aluminum , beautiful pieces , were going to powder coat them clear . but decided to go with stock appearance.all mercury racing blue , just more braid . even keeping the hp500 air cleaner so far. everyone in the world knows its built though

jack boyd from mayfield built it . jason consulted . they have a good relationship . hoping i got the best . time will tell

The guy I got the other boat from had a 66 Nova SS with a Boyd 383 stroker in it.He was happy and had the burnout marks in his driveway to prove it!
