this is the diplomat that ya'll here me talk about
this picture was take before the new motor and jack plate

1980 checkmate diplomat
1980 johnson v-4 140
20 pitch raker 5800 rpm

then we put a 1994 johnson v-4 140 looper
this was the forst year for the looper's
it would turn the 20 pitch raker at 6800 rpm
and a 22 pitch raker at 6300 rpm
we had to install a 6 inch cmc jack plate to control the chine walking
it would still roll down off the pad and then roll back up on

we were running 6,800 rpm with a 13 1/4 20 raker

6,300 with a 13 1/4 x 22 raker
