amp output on merc 115?

I was just wondering if any of you knew the output on the generator on my 78 merc 115. i wanted to put an amp and speakers in it and didnt want to kill the batt. im hoping it has at least 20 amp output.

HAD THE SAME SITUATION. BOUGHT LARGEST BATTERY INSTALLED A ON BOARD CHARGER (TO SIMPLIFY CHARGING). THAN BOUGHT A DEVICE CALLED A BATTERY BUDDY. IT MONITORS THE FLOW OUT OF THE BATT.ONCE YOUR BATT DROPS BELOW A CERTAIN AMPAGE IT SHUTS OFF A POS. CURRANT, LEAVING ENOUGH CHARGE TO START YOUR MOTOR. USED IT FOR YEARS, TILL I INSTALLED DUAL BATTIES. WITH A 2.5 I'M ONLY PUTTING OUT 16 AMPS AND THATS ONLY ABOVE 6000RPMS. MERC245
