Leaks!

My new starflight leaks where the hull and deck come together at the rub rail.Not real bad but bad enough I get water trickling in a few different spots,especially in the rough.Whats the fix? http://www.checkmate-boats.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Well there is easy and hard.
The hard way would be to remove the rubrail, pull all the revits, seperate the top and bottom.
Clean off all the sealant that was used and then reseal the 2 halves, install all the rivits and put the rub rail back on.
The easy way.(did this on my sea ray with the same problem). get under the inside of the boat and look under the deck where the 2 halves meet. You should see a seam. Clean with a good contact cleaner, you want something that will not leave a residue and evaporate completly. Then lay down a bead of quality silicone.
