Power Boat Party Forums

Hey Gang,

I thought I'd let you know about a new boating forum and boating site that started up January 1, 2007 and is already off to a flying start.

The site is Power Boat Party.

I've already joined up myself, and Shane from Power Boat Party has been kind enough to put our forums as their sponsor of their Checkmate section. Thank you Shane! I personally plan to spend some time hanging out in the PBP Mate section, helping out the Mate fans and showing everyone else why we love our Checkies. :D

The neat thing about PBP is that they cater to all the brands and types of boats. The guys there have worked hard to create a site which caters to the widest audience possible. So whether you drive a Check, Stream, Baja, Cigarette, I/O, outboard, or even a 'Toon, you'll feel right at home at PBP. Shane and the gang have also built a very vibrant "get together" section, to help members plan and organize poker runs, raft ups etc.


Like our site, there is no cost to join and I am sure you will see a number of familiar names that have already joined up from OSO, Speedwake, Team Baja and here as well.

Alright here is what everyone has been waiting for. "1st Annual Thunder at the Lake"

Big Thunder Marine http://www.bigthundermarine.com/ (http://www.bigthundermarine.com/) has asked Powerboatparty to host there poker run on Friday July 27th

Powerboatparty and Big Thunder Marine have been working to get an Awesome event put together for everyone.

Big Thunder Marine has worked out Dock space for everyone that is registered and attending the event. We have also been working on a Band, Food, and other things to go with this.

Registration is now online and can be viewed with the below link.

Everyone will get a wrist band showing they have registered and this will allow them into the event.

Slip Space (Based on availability)

And the chance to Win one of the many great prizes that will be given away.

I found PBP a few days ago and signed on. Now here it is on Checkmate forum. Strange timing. I'll have to check out the Check' forum!

I'm not sure my wife will approve that forum?:eyecrazy:
