I JUST PURCHASED A 1994 PULSARE 2100. THE HULL IS BLACK METAL FLAKE. THERE ARE SOME MINOR CHIPS AND SCRATCHES THAT I WOULD LIKE TO REPAIR. CAN THE BLACK/METAL FLAKE GELCOAT STILL BE PURCHASED? IF SO HOW DO I GET SOME?

Spectre.........their really isn't such a thing as black metalflake at least from the factory. Do you mean the boat is black with what silver flake or some other color of flake misted in it..? If that's the case it can be repaired......Just not sure what you have here got any pictures..or a serial number - i can look up the original order..?

HEY KIP, THANKS FOR RESPONDING!! THE BOAT IS BLACK WITH SILVER FLAKE IN THE GEL. IT ALSO HAS RED AND WHITE ACCENT STRIPES. I WOULD WALK OUT TO MY TRUCK TO GET THE SERIAL # OFF THE TITLE BUT IS IS RAINING IN SUNNY SOUTH FLORIDA AT THE MOMENT. I WILL POST THE SERIAL # THE NEXT CHANCE I GET.

kip , this blows my mind every time i see you responding to one of our questions or sharing info with us . i have picked your brain on the phone a couple of times and ordered stuff fom mike , didn't know he was your bro ! to get this kind of support so long after the sale .priceless !!!!! was always told "checkmate is a cult boat " not a bad thing is it ? am in the process of updating my 95 convincor 283 into something more special than it has been for the last 9years . i learned through this site . that pretty much whatever happens to the boat , the factory is there to help. great !!!!!while this one is a keeper , i wouldn't be surprised if down the road i bought another checkmate , probably an outboard bowrider . why go any where else ???

QUESTION #TWO FOR KIP!!! I CAN NO LONGER READ THE SERIAL # ON THE TRAILER THAT I PURCHASED WITH HULL #CHK43511I394. PRIOR OWNER LOST TAG AND REGISTRATION LONG AGO AND THE SERIAL # PLATE IS WEATHERED. I DONT KNOW IF CHEKMATE PURCHASED A TRAILER FOR THIS BOAT OR IF IT WAS PURCHASED BY THE DEALER. ANYWAY, THE TRAILER IS A VENTURE SINGLE AXLE. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT SO I CAN REGISTER THE TRAILER PROPERLY.
