Hello all,
I have aquired a 93 Fantasy F-13. The story behind this is it was won in a contest by my Aunt at a local mall. She then gave it to my grandfather to store. Well this boat has been in storage since 1993 and has never even been started! It has a 40 HP Tohatsu motor and has recently been serviced by a local boat mechanic.
This boat is in excellent condition and I am looking to sell it as it is a little small for me. If anyone is interested, or knows someone who is interested please let me know. This is definitely a one of a kind deal to find this model in new condition.
Thanks,
Dave S.

Hello again,
I will have pictures this afternoon and will get them posted. I am located in Northeast Ohio as stated by JW. Also, I do live across from a lake so if interested I can setup a test drive for interested buyers.
Thanks again,
Dave

Hello,
I wish I had time to clean it up before taking the pictures but the weather is getting nasty again here tomorrow. Hopefully next week sometime I can clean it up and retake. Any dirt or marks you see on the boat are simply from sitting in a garage all winter. It shines up beautifully and does not have a mark on it. I have not set an asking price yet, kind of hoping for offers as I am not sure where to begin.

Thanks again and I hope to have more soon,

Hello,
I am still trying to figure a good price, but will let you know. Any offers are welcome.
Thanks,
I could put that Tohatsu on my pontoon boat and find a nice 90 Yam for that F13.............:thumb:

Well the boat is at the shop getting checked over. I just purchased two new trailer tires and rims and a new battery to be sure all is well. I should have the boat back next week sometime.
I have been looking into different options and will probably begin by placing the boat on eBay for a reasonable amount. It is rare and I am unsure of where to begin with it. I will be contacting all of the interested parties to notify them that the boat will be listed. We will start there and see what comes of it.
I will keep everyone up to date and appreciate your interest,
Any idea of the price you really need to get out of it?

Hmmm,
I would probably thinking I would be rather pleased with around $3,000 but not sure if that is too high or low.
Might depend on how that motor has survived the years, and how often rain/moisture has been inside the boat. You mentioned it's at the shop, are they getting it running for you?
Make sure they look inside the cylinders, I've seen two-strokes literally rust up after sitting for 2 years. Maybe do a compression check too. I've also seen motors with rusted crank bearings, and you have to go really deep into it to see that for sure.
If moisture has been allowed into the boat (like rain/snow or really damp environment) you'll end up with rotted stringers below the floor, and possible transom damage.
If the boat and motor are mint, you'll get a lot more than if there's been damage from sitting. Anyone that comes to look at it will have to spend some time. Is there anyone at the dealership you took the boat to that is qualified to evaluate hull and engine value?

Hello All,
Finally, I have the boat back and it has received a clean bill of health! The boat guy said it runs like new because it is new so I figured that is a good thing. I am probably going to forget everything but here is all that was done to this boat and trailer:
-new trailer tires and rims
-new battery
-new fuel line
-replaced missing drain plug
-full overview by mechanic and first run and startup by mechanic
So finally I think it is ready to go. I wouldn't mind taking it out once to be sure all is well as it still has not been in water but everything is looking good.
So if I had to put a price out there right now I am thinking $3,000. I am still seriously considering the ebay route as well although I would rather deal with someone from the forums. I am not sure how much more could be brought in using ebay but think after sellers fees and everything it may not be worth the time.
I will get the boat cleaned up today or tomorrow weather depending and get up some new pictures as well.
Thanks,

OK,
So I have the boat on eBay now on a 10 day listing. If it does not sell online we will go from there. Here is the link to the eBay page if anyone is interested or would like to bid:

What size motor does the hull plate say that boat is rated for?
I would certainly put a much larger motor on it if I got it, but you would need to stay legal.

Hello, It looks like 50 HP but I am not positive this is the correct plate lol
Take a look and if there is something else I will continue looking.
Thanks,
