Hi SCT, with respect to the Jack Plate, is it a 1 piece unit or the 2 piece version.

I'm still toying with the idea, I had myself talked out of it, then I say "what the heck".

Hi Bruce,

I believe it is a 2 piece CMC j/p. It is 5.5 inches not 4.5 as I stated above in my ad. It's the standard CMC chrome j/p that Cmate uses on their Pulsare models.

Correction:

If it's the standard CMC jack plate, then it's a very thick Aluminum 5.5" setback jack plate that has 5" of up and down travel. Should be model 'ML 65'. The hardware is all Stainless Steel. A VERY good manual unit. Also, it should be a one piece.

This would make a great buy for someone that needs a jack plate!! What do you want for it SCT?

SCT, Will it fit on my Starflite, does it add any top end speed, is it easy to raise and lower for say skiing and top-end speed?

The CMC manual jack plate will fit on just about every boat. It's easy to adjust, but you have to be stopped and loosen and re-tighten 4 bolts on the sides and one bolt on the top. I was able to make height adjustments in less than 10 minutes on my Pulsare when using the CMC.
