I don't actually own it yet but most likely will.
A friend owns it and is asking $800. OBO:lol: (a great part of Fla)
I have'nt even seen it in person yet. Only these pixs until he shoots and sends some more.
Will probably go in next few weeks.
He says it's solid as a rock other than butchered stringers where the I/O mnts were and the bulkhead forward of motor being damaged from some idiot trying to lift boat from there!!
My friend just bought it to use to copy the deck for a 21' he's building.
Guy he bought it from says it's a 24' Thundercraft ???
He thinks they got in trouble for splashing it???
In Fla, splashing is not the same bad word as it is in most other areas ;)
Their are molds for sale in almost every issue of our Boat Trader!
I am selling honeycomb boat building supplies down here and can tell you almost everything is a splash of something.
People building boats in their garages!
Anyhow this boat looks to be exactly the project I've been waiting on for yrs though.
No splash well like the O/B Convincors, no liner like the new boats and like my Sonic had. Don't like them, can't see the hull and adds weight.
The one in my Sonic had cracks all over it.
Has I think three bulk heads in cabin. Another good thing. My Sonic had none!
I'll add some monster knee's to the transom and re-inforce the hull where ever it may need it to be absolutely bullet proof!
If the deal works out, I will plug the hole in the transom from the old chunck and then mount a bracket for twin O/B's like this boat should have ;)
I am converting a carbureted JohnRude O/B to fuel injection for my STV race boat and will build two more for this boat unless the new E-Techs start blowing up so I can steal a couple of those.
Should make a great weekender for down here and be fun exploring the intercostal and the 55 mile run to the Bahamas if I can ever afford gas :brickwall:
There are also tons of uninhabited islands in the intercostal that we camp on this boat will do that very well.
Will keep you posted to updates.

Thundercraft is a legit well known brand up here.
They still build lots of boats.

I had a bit of trouble finding the Thundercraft site.
They were bought by Doral which is a respected brand up here in Canada.
Thundercraft has more or less been religated to smaller model boats it seems.

I thought the name sounded familar but I'd guess maybe a different Thundercraft???
Very familiar with Dorals too.
Down here theres splashes of splashes :)
You get to see the same hull design over and over w/a new deck design.

It dose not seem as bad as it used to be here in Florida. But,if you drive around Tampa you will see so many splashes that you will forget which is the original. Center consels seem to be the worst for it mostly the Boston Whalers. I remember when I had a 13ft 1972 Orlando Clipper (great boat still in the family) I saw at least six identicle boats with different names on them. And one of my favorites was the old Pieces factory that splashed old Checkmate hulls down by the POT.
