I'm considering a trailer for my 05 convincor270. I bought it new without one. The boat spends the season at the lake. Service, cleaning and anything elese is much harder to do when I can't get it home. Any thoughts on used trailers available? Considered buying new. Maybe Ace trailers from Florida? Not sure on painted. The last Eagle was getting pretty rusted.

I have no problems with a steel painted trailer but mine stays inside. If I had to leave mine outside I would want a galvenized or aluminum

galvanized is the only way to go - they look like crap when new and never change - instead of shiny and new then rusting to look like crap!

That may be a good way to go. Less polishing, less guilt.

For what you are doing, it would be hard to beat the Venture aluminum benk trailer. Look at them on ebay. They are fairly cheap and a good trailer. boatman
