what about lake anna? i am planning on running there some this summer, you ever go there? i may have to try the trip to sml but that is a tough haul for my current puller. not sure it would make it up the hills.

The first week of June is a good time to visit Lake Anna. That is the week of the Anual Beast of the East Hot Boat gathering. We will be shacking up at the Lake Anna Lodge on friday and sat night June 8 and 9th then heading back to RoanokeVA on Sunday. Come on out for a day or spend the weekend. You will see mostly jet boats and V-drives at this event but "all "boats are welcome to join in. There are usually some way cool Checkmates at this event. keep an eye out for a Nissan Frontier Crew cab with a S.M.L. Super Jets decal on the back window pulling a primer white 1971 Carlson CV19SS Jet Boat. :bigthumb:

I remember some earlier posts from you that said you were kind of in a jet boat area.

I will try to make it for the fun, my engine may not be in by that time. If I do get it in you may see us there. Blue/White Enforcer (Avatar) - think we have decided on a name for it but will not have the vinyl by then. "N SAN A TEE" is our fav so far.

I got a phone call from Greenville SC today. It was Frank he is the man who has my Enticer. He said that it has been in the garage and it hasn't moved. I think he came up and got it this past October? I told him that he needs to jump in and post from time to time. I would love to see some pisc of it on the water. I miss that lil boat, but I don't think the wife does:banana:

Hey wickedrister - not sure yet about next weekend. got the motor back friday - i put it in saturday, rained today. cant figure out where 2 wires go yet and plan to have someone check the wiring before putting it on the battery. hope to do that tomorrow. wife is out of town and i promised not to get it wet until she gets back so if we make it up there it will likely be her virgin run, might can test it friday night locally.

The wife and I will be going this year for our first time. It's only about 3 hours to Anna from Roanoke VA. We will be sporting around in a cool 1971 Carlson CV-19SS 396 big block jet. It's a really nice lake boat but not a hard core hot rod. My friend Scott has 2 jet boats. How cool is that! He has the Carlson and a boat that is. The 454 Eliminator bubble deck is the hot rod! We will try and shoot some god 2007 Anna footage.
