The way I look at it if your boat is hanging around in the water you are looseing speed. In the video the water was to smooth for me I like 1 1/2 to 2 foot of chop to really get my boat cooking. Here is a pic below from a chopper last fall. My buddy riding shot gun has never been in anything bigger than a jon boat and he was holding on.

The truck has a stroked 360 total 381 cubes. I am pulling the engine this winter to put in my project Dart. I am not a big small block fan I miss that torque, I am going to put a 413 back in the truck. Here is the link below of the whole video.
