Pretty lousy, since I used a digital camera with no zoom in vid mode...and no camera man, haha. =/ Oh well...my friend who has really good video gear is going to get some better footage sometime.

Haha, I'd love to try running it on the river. You were very close! It's actually Lake Mohawk, right around the corner from Hopatcong. Mohawk's a lot smaller though, only 3 miles long, and no boats allowed over 19 feet!

Thanks man...but I just hope I can upgrade to a big boy motor one day like you and GEP...:D

You might have tried pasting the whole youtube link in the tags, which won't work. Just put the last few numbers/letters, for example:

Nice job on the videos!!
What type of file did you upload? They came out quite clear.
I am not having good luck with videos. They come out blotchy.
The boat/motor looks good.
What speed are you getting??

i notice if i send up a big klip it is blotchy,if i send a small klip it is clear,,,i think if you send something to big, they compress the hell out of it...try sending a small video and check out the quality

I just put them into Windows Movie Maker, then saved them in wmv format. I really don't know anything about vid making beyond that, haha.

I'm still not sure how fast I'm going. I've been trying to find someone with GPS to come out with me. I'd like to buy a handheld unit myself...but I'm taking a trip soon, so I have to save every penny for the next month.

Nice videos, the Johnson sounds good too. Looks like that predictor takes off pretty quick. Ive got a v4 90 Rude on a small boat like a predictor and it rips out of the water faster than a jetski!

I'm really surprised at how fast it pops right up. I guess the motor is really light. It's an aluminum prop, I'm not even sure what pitch...:o

Great vid for a cell phone

i had a 2.0 litre v-4 140 on the diplomate i had

the diplomate is longer wider and heavier and the v-4 ran great on it.

there used to be someone i think it was land and sea that built a 170 horse
