Thats a good Idea. It came out great too! Did you put something over the mic to disapate the wind noise? Looks like you almost lost the camera towards the end though.
Im going to try mounting the camera somewhere like that next time. What did you do just tape it?
Great video!! Did anyone else notice towards the end, the wind forced the camera to point up some? Very clear video, good idea to strap it to the ski pylon. I'll have to remember that for when I get my next boat!

Since you seem to like this video,I am loading up take a ride 2,,It will be posted here in a few minutes..Buy a cheap tripod, remove center piece and bungee to pilon,,,tripod so cheap that it would wander back in the wind..
nothing done to camera for sound,,it is a older 6.1 kodak dx7630...

Cool vid!! If that's NOT in Quicktime format, I need a copy of it for the project I'm working on.
Your boat sure is stable compared to my 60 mph Exciter. Hell, it's Exciting trying to hang on to it above 55.
I can't believe your cam stayed snapped into the tri-pod connector that long. I think I would bungee the cam to the tri-pod, too. I'm gonna have to try that one. Great idea Hob!
