Why would it do that ?

Here is a little bit more info to play with

- Water was SUPER cold and temp gauge did not even register over 100 , that could be cause its dead or thermostat. ( I am changing the thermostat )

- Water Separator is from last year and gas was 5-6 gallons of clean new 91 octane and the rest 2 year old ...

I did Jab the throttle really fast , first time I ever did that on a boat...

Let me know what you guys think I am just sort of curious before I put her back in.

Finished my 3 day work on getting it done. While I was there, I got the truck door glass done as well :thumb: There is 6 pieces that make up the windshield. 2 front glass, 2 curved plexiglas, and 2 side glass. The tint film can not stick to plexi due to out gassing. I went with 20% on the glass pieces. The plexi has to be tinted a different way. They do make a film now but it is very expensive and my tint guy only does a couple boats a year so its not worth the investment. What I decided to do was tint come clear coat with black base, scuff the plexi and apply till the darkness is right...... piece of cake right :brickwall:
It came out really excellent from the outside of the boat, really good from the inside but a slight bit darker w/greenish tone (the camera picks it up way worse than in person ;)) I am happy with how it turned out and I can see through the glass still (if I duck way down)!

I am selling my 1984 18 foot checkmate, this boat has a 200 HP Mercury engine, the boat is very clean, the interior is in great shape most of it is new. I just had the bottom buffed out, then a Keel Gaurd installed. The engine runs great all the service has been done on it this spring and it is ready for the boating season. Stainless Steel prop. Everything works on this boat and the boat is fast. The registration is still good for the rest of the season. The boat comes with a tandom axle trailer with spare (all bearings recently replaced) and a nice Sunbrella cover.
I have been in the marine repair business for 10 years, this is my personal boat so it is a good one.
