I like it! I think the designs are coming into the current styles, which is gonna help sell boats. Looks good to me!

You don't have to change your boat with the times. I'm somewhat partial to the convincor's since I own one, but they they do seem to be part of Checkmate's legacy. I think they should make them forever and leave the design unchanged. Donzi did it with their classic series. They've been making that model since the late sixties and never changed the design. It worked for them.

Ive seen and sat in this boat, the boat is superb! Seats are comfortable and everything is upgraded! It crazy that people give there opinion without even seeing this boat in person! There is no comparison to an older ZT-280!

I can only hope it looks better in person than it does in pictures... I'm glad to hear that it does

I'll have to see if I can get a look at it in the flesh... the pics don't do anything for me.

I think its a step in the right direction.

You know, if you trash every new design change that comes down the line, eventually all the new members here will be people with the old boats. Because if that was my boat being built, the way you guys have been trashing it, I would definatly not feel welcome here.

I happen to know that the guy that ordered that boat loves it, and THAT is the most important thing about building boats.

I don't think that anyone was trashing it and I hope that my posts didn't come off that way. The only thing I didn't like was the back seat and thats what I'm referring to above your post Coop (guess I should have stated that "I hope the backseat looks better in person" to clarify what I was talking about). Rest of the boat looks good, imo. Look at my first post... only complaint I had was the rear seat design.
