Default Well Its about time to let ole Girl go... '78 Trimate III w fresh rebuilt Johnson V6

Im still breaking the motor in, running great but I just dont have time nor place for the boat now... Check under my name for the rebuild of this boat, I am taking some new pics and video, just getting the post up as I finish prepping it for sale The boat has had all the hard work done for rebuild but its not it 100% best shape interior wise, the seat should be replaced as the captains chairs are just plastic boat seats, and the others a vinyl seats and ok, I just didnt get to the captain chairs yet.

The motor is a Johnson '88 Limited edition V6, the motor was built by second effort the racing team for OMC, it started life as a 225 before they did their magic, Ive heard rumors of anywhere from 250-300hp as numbers but nothing concrete, the boat is fast, it ran 63 with the 175 that was originally on it, I had a phone GPS say 104 but I dont trust those things, just being honest. The motor was rebuild to second efforts specs and is a balanced and blueprinted, ported motor, I have about 7 hours on it at this point and will be adding few more before im ready to sell it, I want to be sure the motor is solid before I sell it. I have video of it running on the hose, as well at this point.

Asking a semi-firm $6500....PM me if intrested and i will be getting pics and video up shortly

I am not sure if 104 is accurate, because it was done with phone as i stated before I'm a little skeptical of that number, but running prop slip numbers based off of what I ran before with a GPS with the old 175, its close in theory. I would very comfortably say the boat is in the 90's, and probably could use more prop... its honestly just to a scary a ride for me to find out exactly how fast it is, Im not going to push the boat as I did on that run again, to nerve racking in a 19' boat...I guess Im gaining fear in my old age, lol.
