Default mercury 2.4 200's what are they worth

i have a set of mercury 2.4 200 outboards. have dual stage reeds, velocity stacks, not original merc 260 cowls that need some body work and new paint, 2.0 gear ratio lowers that have bobs nose cones that need some body work where the original water intake ports are. have 1 piece heads. the one power head will need a new block though. everything internally is good just the block has a broken tap in the head bolt hole and one other hole is screwed up too. the other power head is good, and starts and runs fine. all the electronics are good on both motors. what do you think i could get for the pair of them? thanks

They sell anywhere from 2K to 3K each for a running motor.

Prolly get 1500 if you part the other one out as long as the crank and pistons are good. The used parts go like mad on S/F if they are nice. I have parted out many over the years.

Try to find some good running Opti's with low hours. The 3.0 EFI engines will use more fuel than those 2.4's. At least mine did.

I am hoping so, I spoke to the original owner of the boat when i was down for rock the bay poker run. he originally had two johnson 225 ho motors with some work and boat ran 77mph on gps. if i could get that i would be happy.
