Maybe it's my new-ness, but I plan on requesting a pre-inspection survey by a reputable shop who will check hours, compression, etc - happy to pay the bill. You're probably more skilled and can see/feel it during a drive than me. If they flake on that it's like buying a house without an inspection...what are you hiding?! I know enough about houses and cars at this point, not enough about boats. I bought a junk jetski and know I overpaid a bit but it was cheap and planned to completely rebuild. Worst case I throw it away and I'm out a lot less than a boat and if not (labor aside) I probably can sell it for more or break even next spring/summer.

You guys are awesome - way more engagement and knowledge/sharing than I expected! Thanks!!

Love Cumberland, put in at Lee's Ford run 50-55 miles for Ice cream and a little gas, at Grider Hill, by the dam and run back.

Green's not exciting (like Pink...lol), but what about this? https://mansfield.craigslist.org/boa...666309231.html

Is it a 10k boat? Feel like 8 or 9 and it would be in my driveway/garage...

That ones not bad but I would give special attention to the engine bay. Looks pretty dirty. Also those flotation boxes on the side tend to hold water.
I have the 350 mag in mine, but with fuel injection, and love it. Strong, light and fast enough for me.
