Gelcoat on my 1990 sportfire IO--black with silver metallic fleck (deck only) is oxidized. This craft is in perfect condition with low hours. I would like to bring it back to the deep black color & gloss along with the clearcoat of the silver metallic. Does anyone know how to restore gelcoat or is there a more advanced technology coating being used? Not sure if I will reduce the value by restoring with an updated coating system or stay with a gelcoat restoration kit which I have. Thanks so much for your help.
