$20k FIRM, no trades! That's a lot of boat for the money! Come take her away! I'll be closing on my house in Costa Rica shortly!

I scratching my head on this one. $20K is less than most would pay for a 21' Pulsare...I'm shocked no one on our site has stepped up to the pump to buy my boat...

Too much boat for me or I would. Iím stuck at 21 ft. If the other twin 25-28ft OB owners did not already have their boats, Iím sure a few would have jumped on this one. Itís a good deal.

I would have jumped on it sooner, but got too deep into the restore of my 251 with Demag's help over the last 2 years. Now that I have it back running well, I'm sticking with it for the medium term - unless I win the big one!

Believe me, the twin OB crew in the north east have spoken about road trips for Jup's boat on many an occasion!

After reading this I feel like I had to post. I drove 1700 mikes and spent $400 in diesel to look at this boat. I asked many questions about the boat including if there were any cracks chips or anything else that I should be concerned about the boat. I was assured the hull was sound. Well in I knew in the first five minutes I would not be buying the boat. The transom has a very large crack that can be seen from the back side, as well as a crack that can be seen from inside the boat. There is a bolt hole missing from where it was previously rigged. And the splash well has a crack from one side to the other just under a piece of angle on top of the transom. Also the cap of the boat and the bottom of the boat don’t line up and I could stick my finger between the two.(I assume because the transom is being squeezed together) also for the boat being completely redone interior wise appon lifting the rear seat the plywood for the set is very soft.
None of this was disclosed as if it was I would have not made the long trip.
I only bring this up to save the next guy the time and money before driving down and being disappointed.
I tried to upload some photos not sure if this link works or not.

First of all, I've been running the boat in the exact same condition as when I bought the boat from Hemibee 6 years ago. What this poster is talking about is the gelcoat from the original triple rigging. Where the holes were filled and gelcoated over from the original tripple motors, the gelcoat has popped out on a few of them. There is a gelcoat crack on one of those holes on the port side (it's about 4" verticle and just the gelcoat due to the gelcoat filling popping out). There is no crack in the splashwell. The original steel plates that sandwhich the transom lip are still in place. The seat box itself is the factory original seat box that has been recovered. There is no wet rot in the box. It's the same wood used in all checkmates of the era. The boat is 34 years old and is not perfect. For $20K there is a lot of boat with many upgrades for the money. I forwarded my build threads to every one who has had interest in the boat to see what was done. Nothing has been hidden, it's in the threads which are highly detailed with many photos. In fact, my wife and I enjoyed the day on the boat after these people, who were very nice by the way, left for home. We ran the boat the entire day in the ocean from Jupiter to St Lucie inlets and had a blast. The guys that have all bought 28's and 25's have spent enormous amount of time and money bringing these boats back to life. Most of those boats have had the transom redone. There is little left to do on my boat. most of it is new as you guys are aware of; Floor, stringers, fuel tank, cabin, cockpit, cables, steering, etc. etc. Even if you decided to put a new transom in the boat (if what this poster states concerns you) you would still be way ahead of the game. I will shoot some more pictures and post them on this thread focusing on the transom.

Furthermore, this buyer thought there would be more room in the cockpit for his family. 4 adults is ok..5 adults and it's tight...a family with kids and parents, forget about it. For $20K there is a lot of boat for the money with many upgrades. I forwarded my build threads to every one who has had interest in the boat to see what was done. I also have newer white faced gages, solid lower motor mounts and new motor mount cages that will go with the boat.
