Model Owned: 1975 Trimate 2

Default

1975 Trimate 2, 2.4 200+ solid mounts, mild port work, reeds, mod vp 245hp carbs, balanced. Speed information is from the prior to overhaul set up. Hyd jack plate. (home made came with the boat) Plate all the way up. 3.5" below the bottom. 6400 rpm 69.8 mph (gps)

Have not tested yet with the new mods.

9" wide X 7' pad added to the bottom, extended strakes back to the transom.. new wood everywhere. Transom drilled to mount plate 2.5" higher that factory. 6" set back CMC hyd plate. Bob's nose cone to be added after testing.
Shooting for 80mph. Going to need a bigger prop

Very stable! Once you are on the pad, it takes very little effort to hold it there. At max speed in calm water, I think you could turn loose of the steer wheel! boatman

Pulsare 2100 BR with 2006 225 Pro XS.

Setup with 6" Manual Jack plate raised almost to the top. Spinning a 27p Tempest @ 5700. Top speed is 76.1 on GPS with bow cover on and 75.5 with the cover off.

I have hopes for 78 on GPS with 10" set back and a labbed 27.

Borrowed a GPS today for the last run of the season.
'85 Predictor
'87 Merc 115 6-cyl
I was able to get 51.7 mph. (Quite Windy)
5600 to 5800 rpm
No jackplate
22P Michigan Wheel stainless

If the tach is correct, I might be able to go up in pitch.
Normal range is 5000-5500 per owner's manual.

What do you think??
