Heres the trailer getting worked on. Both cross members were rusty and it needed a new axle. We're planning on getting a primer type coating for the galvanized and spraying it red.

Default Don't skimp on the restoration...

The next guy to buy it may have kids.....replace the transom and do a good job. The floor and the rest will come into play. Nice rare hull to clean up and resto. Not many 71's around. If you need some flake to spray, lemme know, i have a lot of color options. Good luck!! It will be worth it when you are done!!

Well the trailer is almost finished, the only thing left to do to it now is put on the bunks, replace the rollers, and put on a set of diamond plate fenders. We decided not to paint the trailer and are instead doing some black and red striping to accent the boat. As soon as the trailer is finished we will be able to get working on the actual boat.

Hopefully a year or two down the road i can find a 4 cylinder yamaha to put on there. I already have the 90 and i'm planning on painting it black and getting a custom set of VMAX decals made for it so it matches the boat a better and adds a little custom touch.

Well i started buying a few things today to figure out which holes need to be filled while im doing the fiberglass work, and what new holes need to be drilled. My plan is to pretty much get the whole boat put together so no new holes will have to be drilled after paint.

I'm not for sure what I'm going to do for the dash, but the gauges i bought included this bezel.

I also ordered some pop up cleats for a low profile look.

the trailer is pretty much done, now the only thing needed is to mount the fenders and it'll be ready to put the boat on it.
