Default fuel filler hose

hey guys, getting ready to put the trimate II back together but need some input. the fuel filler door on the deck is offset from the gas tank fill hole. i need a hose that goes about 6 inches down and 4 inches over in order to direct the fuel into the tank. i tried a radiator hose but it kinks because of the bends. What do you guys suggest i use?

You'll need a gas filler hose from your local auto parts store or one of the vendors here. Something like this:http://www.overtons.com/modperl/prod...e&merchID=4005

thats what i used previously but the hard turns i have to make because of the offset causes the stiff walls of these to kink. I need something more flexible

had the same issue with my trimate two with the offset. you will have to get fuel filler hose due to other hoses being corroded due to fuel. at least that is what i was told. peace of mind anyway. was about $17 a foot at napa and they sell it by the whole foot,

Like he said above. You MUST use fuel filler hose. If you use a radiator hose it will get eaten up by the fuel. Try finding one from a car or truck that has those bends in it.

OR you could put 2 aluminum elbows in it. Ied go with whatever you find first.

i looked at mine this evening and i do have a bend/kink in the hose but i have never had problems with filling up gas so the kink has not been anything more than an eyesore.

You could try asking Mike at C-Mate what they use.

Perhaps they can sell you a length of hose.

I also found this product that might work.
