    I would look at the carb considering you said it had a high idle. Im not sure what you have but if the high idle cam is set (when the choke is on ) or stuck after the choke open, it will prevent the secondaries from opening...

    The bounce is caused by the hull riding up on the pad and falling off, its the point where you have to give it a little more throttle to get it out of the water or a little less to put more of the boat back in the water.     Are you sure the secondaries are opening up on the carb? Check your ignition timing as well to make sure it has not changed. Porpoising is an issue that you will have to resolve with the tabs and drive.

    I posted before but... I live on Kent Island. You can get a day pass to use any of 6 or 7 ramps on the island for $20.00 I think, annual is $30. You are welcome to keep the boat and trailer at my house, there are plenty of hotels within 5 minutes of driving either direction if it helps anyone...
