    I see you have the 1.63 gears . Mine has the 1.75:1 gearing in my 225 opti. How much difference in insurance did they quote.

    Hi.I also have 10 in set back,manual jack.Motor and jack plate are all the way up,trophy plus 25,TM lower unit 1.63.I ran 81 MPH GPS w/2 persons on board,full thank of gas,10 in chop.I got the 250 instead of the 300,insurance was cheaper.Im sure that adding a hydro-lift i would get an extra 2-3 MPH.Dont know what the RPM was reading,to busy checking the speedo.
