Looking good! It's great you're having fun with it. You're lucky you live in an area where 'winter' means 60 degree weather to rebuild a boat :D

LOL!!! Yeah it's nice until it dips into the high 20's low 30's, which will happen this week again.:( I'm too damn skinny for cold weather.:D

At 6' 4" and 185 lbs, I'm too skinny for this weather too! That's why my closet is full of Carhart snowmobile suits, Carhart XXL overcoats, Carhart bib-overalls, snow boot, snowmobile gloves................:shakehead:

Jw you need to move south and leave the cold weather up there, please don't bring with you.:D

Don't really need a bigger boat, the 170 is designed so well I can stretch my legs out STRAIGHT in the drivers seat and barely touch the front wall of the consols. I could actually move the seat up 3" and still have more than enough leg room. This is a fantastic size, especially because it's a bow-rider.

I still strongly believe that CMate should be building the 170.

I got my wood blocks glassed in and added a 6" strip around the floor perimeter. I'm done with the floor replacement and now I'll start putting the boat back together when the resin dries. I also orderd the carpet today from a place called boat carpet store http://www.boatcarpetbuys.com/. I got the 16'x6' 20oz marine carpet for $119.99 free shipping. They had sent me a free sample to make sure the color matches with what I've got now, which it does. Here's the pictures from today. Next I'll remove all the cleats grabrail and lights from the top deck watersand and buff the top out. I've got some minor oxidation near the grabrails and cleats so since I've got the boat apart I'll buff those areas out.

I corrected a description above in red.

You did a great job! What about finishing up the transom area now? Still haven't finished boxing that area in.......................

Thanks!!! I appreciate it!!! Are you talking about the floatation Boxes? If so I'm not putting those back in since the Pulse170 has foam on both sides under the gunnells. Checkmate boxed in a area from where I cut the flotation boxes out to right underneath the consoles on both sides. They're full of foam. The pictures shown is the passenger side, behind the carpet is the foam, in second picture you can see the top of the foam.

Great job. The floor came out very nice.
There is no way I want to find out how much I have in the restoration of my trimate. It would scare me.

The enjoyment of speending a weekend on the boat, cranking on the throtle, not at the daily grind makes it all worth it. Somethings money can buy but its better not to know how much it cost ya!;)

Looking great. Amazing workmanship throughout the project. I am having a problem with my floor where it meets the hull. I am not happy with it so I might pull my carpet back up. What the problem is I think I might have mixed the resign to hot and it dried before it soaked all the way through the mat. I bought this reall heavy mat thinking it would be better that doing several layers but now when I bounce right on top of the seam, I can hear it making a slight cracking noise:brickwall:. I have never had a problem like this before and it sucks. Oh well I will pull the carpet and check whats going on and get it fixed. This time I am going to use the stranded mesh mat and do several layers to make sure its going to hold.
