A few pics from the Poker Run

I had the largest outboard and am use to the bigger water. I can say it was a rough day than it got tore up quickly.Only could run 1/2 - 2/3 throddle. In the afternoon counldn't raft off with twice blown becuase of the roughness. It did get tiresom for the smaller boats.

P.S. I did make to put-in-bay and back in3/4 footers the next day.

I can't believe that no one else took pictures. Come on, post your picturs.

BILL ....I'll be ready someday just not this yr. Already spent too much on freshen up. My boat would not stand much more power and I know Sherry don't want it any faster. I'll be calling when I,m ready.

There are some great pics! I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came to the poker run Jon and Dave (as well as Tracy and Marsha)did a great job pulling the event off especially for the first one.
most thought that Jon and Dave were employees of Kunkel's Marine...but they are friends of ours as well as customers and decided to do this on there own because of how much they enjoy there Checkmate Boats....I know that there were some people that were upset at the cost of the event. If anyone has ever attended a poker run knows that the facilities and the food were probably as good as.. if not better than any run in country costing 5 times as much...$200.00 is a really cheap weekend for such an event.

I hope everyone attended had a good time (and I think they did)and we look forward to next year.
Thanks Again!

Jason:
My wife and myself had a great time at this Poker Run. Met some great people, and really enjoyed the whole event. We're already looking forward to next year's run.
Jon and Dave did a wonderful job in putting this Poker Run together. I thought that the route was well thought out. It enabled the smaller boats to make the run.
The 200.00 fee was reasonable. Most Poker Runs will cost you alot more, with lousy food, and stuffy people.
Lyman Harbor put on an unbelievable feast!! The food and service was outstanding. I hope that this event can be held here again.
Hope that all the pictures that were taken can be posted for everyone to see. There was a woman taking Pictures as we left the harbor Sat. at the start of the run. How do we get a hold of these pic's??
Thanks again.

If you would want to make a copy and maybe send me "snail mail" 1/2 of the pics I could do some hosting for you. Let me know

Chad

Jon, Once we go to kodakgallery.com where do we go next. I tried to go look but I can't figure it out. My husband is dying to see them and mad that I can't get there. lol

OK,that is a problem.Let's save a marriage. It seems the only way is if you email me then i can send them to you on the kodak site. I have about 170 pictures in the album. The other solution is if you would like a copy of all 300+ pictures email me and i can copy my disc and mail it to you.I have everybody's registration or send me your address.Hopefully this will get them to the participants.

What a great looking bunch of boats!!! Pretty heavy water for some of the smaller ones, but they all look like they are handling it well.
