Welcome to the board Don.

In the summer time this will still be a great place to hang out. After a long day of boating, solar cane and lotion applied, a smile on your face and 50+ mph hair style, what better place to hang out and soak up AC.
 
But I don't have interent access at my cottage and I go for weeks at a time... I will be missing out on a lot. I will have to live through it... Do you guys have internet access...

You get 10 hours of dial up each month. I use the dial up at my cottage. Just a thought.

Really? What am I supposed to do? Another idea, couldn't you just bring up to whole package, modem, same computer I use at home and then hook it up and get full access high speed? Thanks...

Sorry, you can't take the high speed service with ya bro. It's integrated with your phone line. The dial up part you just have to configure. I created an Icon on my desktop that I click and it dials the local dialup number which is in Hunstsville. If you go to the sympatico home page they have instructions on how to set up your dial up service.

I actually created and set up the first message board at the cottage.

Thanks man. I though I could get away with the best of both worlds, cottage and high speed but I guess not. I am going to look up the intructions on how to set up the dial-up account even though I pretty much know how, but I want to be sure before I actually go up. Have Fun... :sssh:

Well, getting a free dial up account with 10 hours a month is pretty good if you ask me! Heck, I remember when we didn't have electricity or a phone at the cottage.
