Boat Launch Videos...

Ah, yes, one of my favorite parts of boating. I myself have been involved in several of these very same predicaments. The Ranger being pulled out (is that cloths line or rg6 cable?) by (is that a) Celica? "Oh, for Shame". 4 Wheel drive would have provided a more respectable exit. All of those folks running around and no one thinks to lift the little green car back onto the road. Proper technique on the White SUV Guy is to lean on the door as he is exiting the vehicle, there by trapping him in a rather precarious position. You wont believe how easy it is to keep him there and by selective massage of various parts of his rather surprised face, you can convey the ideas and concepts of patience, civility, and manners. It helps if you are of a larger size (The old fat guy) when applying pressure to the door of the offenders vehicle. If this fails (and he has actually run over you as he was negligently backing up), you can always show him the result of years of logging camp boxing matches where gloves and five minute rounds were for sissies.
 
Only had time to watch the first couple - noticed that both vehicles were in park as the rear wheels were not rotating.

Not sure how that happens - oh crap, my car is under water, better put it in park . . . . .
 
The unloaded rear end of a pickup floats fairly well for a moment or two, just long enough for it to proceed down the ramp (Gravity inference here). Large tires provide extra flotation too. You'll notice that the pickups don't have anything in them when they surface. Also, the ramp can be extremely slick from algae and other stuff. It pays to check out the ramp condition before bad stuff happens. Remember that Davey Jones requires frequent contributions of keys, sunglasses, cell phones, tools, fishing poles, reels, and stuff. Murphy is his accomplice. Next time that you are down to the water, offer up a little snort of your favorite adult beverage, pour out a small amount and toast a little respect to the water Gods. Bad stuff wont happen to you. You'll be able to recognize the unenlightened ones...

And one is safe as long as "P", parking brake, and chocks are used on them questionable ramps and common sense! But add... favorite adult beverage and the game is over!
