What do you guys think the best prop would be. Pushing 540hp. Currently running a labbed Bravo 1 24p . I think there is a few mph to be had. Currently 69 to 70mph. Mercruiser Bravo 1. Thx.

5400rpm wot ratio 1.5
If your tach and GPS are accurate at 70 mph, you have 14% slip if we use 24P for the prop. Most Bravo props are really less than the stamped pitch and on a non labbed prop they typically use 23.4P for a 24P Bravo which would put your slip at 12%. For that hull with a stern drive I think 12% slip is good. If the motor makes more HP at 5200 rpm than 5400 (probably not) you might pick up speed running a 25P or 26P Bravo.
