How to measure proper length of steering cable?

Dr. Phil

Member
I just took out my steering cable from my 1993 Fantasy F-13.

What is the proper way to measure the cable so I can get a replacement?

Do you measure from rack end to bar end fully closed?

If that is true, it measures about 10ft 6inches.....

Round up to 11ft?

Actually, ran across a diagram online that I'm hoping shows the proper way to measure....

From the center of the rack to the tip of the cable?

So, my Fantasy F-13 steering cable will be 10FT.

Anyone have a 10FT rack cable for sale?
