New 270 BR Convincor owners

Hello Checkmate Community! We just became part of the Checkmate owners family this fall! Our new to us 2004 Checkmate 270 BR. We have been looking for a Convincor since 2018 and accidentally stumbled upon this one. We could not be happier with it!

I have been into muscle cars and hotroding for many, many years and this dude is a hotrod! It sounds and runs like what I like!

Our boat is powered by an AETCO 702 horsepower 548 big block, Bravo X prepped by Mr. Gadgets, a Bravo 26p 4 blade prop and dual hydraulic steering.

The boat has custom graphics by Mitcher T, purple seadeck throughout, purple LED lighting, etc. The boat will cruise down low at 32 smooth as silk, no porpoise and has hit a top speed of 79 MPH so far with 500 RPM to spare. It's everything we could ever want in a boat!

We do most of our boating on Table Rock lake in southern Missouri. We are looking forward to meeting other Checkmate owners, doing raft ups, poker runs, etc. in the middle US, we are willing to tow to do it!

A few projects we've done ourselves so far:

  • Seadeck throughout (BlackTip Jetsports sheet material)
  • Quick lock/release fender locks
  • New TACO Supraflex rub rail
  • Hardin Marine flame arrestor(still need to shorten the stud)
  • Onboard battery charger
  • USB 2-port charging socket
  • Purple SuperBright LED interior lighting

Up next is a TIG Tech flag pole.

Enjoy the pics and vids!
