occasional hesatation and miss 2009 300SX

Starts great ,runs great, but every once in a while after cruising at 4200 to 4500 RPM ,try to accelerate and it hesitates, sputters and misses,
then it clears up and runs normal, any ideas

Check the inline fuel filter and when you pull the old filter out make sure to clean out the housing as sediment tends to lay in the bottom. It is kinda pain in the ass to get the crap out but a long screwdriver and a couple of rags will help wipe it clean. The filter costs about $42.
