what make checkmate

hello i bought a 1988 checkmate with a 4.3 v6 metal blue flake paint and looking to see what make vin is chk37243d888 it has like a raised fiberglass engine hatch on it thank you
 
With a 4.3L and a raised hatch, I’m guessing it’s a Sportfire or Diplomat IO. Probably in the 17’ range? Can you link a pix?
 
Another thing you can do, on the left hand side of the page, under Main Menu you'll see Gallery. Click on Gallery and scroll down to Checkmate Promotional Material and click on that. Look for 1988 and you'll find pictures and descriptions of the different Models from that year. Best wishes, Jim:thumb:
