I must have taken a hard bump and the glass in the windshield moved on my 253. Anyone know how to take the section of winshield apart in front of the drivers seat to reset the glass?

if its a jadax? its easy in the center very top take of the plate with the two screws and then remove it the whole top section comes off with just a couple more screws on that top section . just slowly pull that piece and you can reposition the glass , why it shifted is something you will have to determine and possibly shim the plate to keep it from moving.

Thanks jln, did the little job tonight, we'll see how well it stays in place now.

Peace,
Rob

hey Rob,Im sure i will run into you soon at the goose or the inn, i kinda like the look of the all fiberglass fairing on our style boats , but the windsheld is sleek looking also the newer mates have taylor made shields and they are quite a step up in quality . i have the old style on my 08 when the sun hits it just right its blinding , take care . jeff

right on, are you planning any trips down this way anytime soon? There will be a fun run for charity on July 24th leaving from the Goose it would be cool to run with another Mate. $50 includes lunch for 2 at the Wild Duck (i think that is the lunch stop) and the donation to a good cause. I think he has a Heli lined up for photos too.

I hope i can make it, i will let you know for sure that week. yeah always nice nice to have a few mates in the crowd, i think my buddy is going with his 259
