1987 Checkmate Convincer Question

DGGM-SS

New member
Recent rumor floating around that my ‘78 Convincer is a rare boat. Only twenty-five were made in ‘78. Any truth to this. Have my doubts. Input appreciated.

‘78 Convince w/ Ford 351 & OMC outdrive.

Great forum / Thanks

Only a few people might know the actual number, where did you get the info?

You are correct about not that many made. All I know is over the years of this site, only a handful of owners of that model have shown up, it just wasn’t popular.

I think the Convincer model was limited in the late 70s because it was between the TriMate IO model and the very popular Enchanter/Entertainer IO models.
