    Advice. I'm a new member and am looking to buy a used 17 to 20' Checkmate in the 130-150 hp range to use on a lake in upstate NY. What should I look for and be cautious of? Should I stay away from boats used in salt water? All advice appreciated. I'm entering my second childhood.
