yep looks all factory.. actually if you have to redo it all, the more rotten the better, comes out easier lol.. You can take a hammer and tap on the hull, if it sounds hollow and moves it most definitely needs core..- Check185

Sounds factory to me.. They used filler putty do blend the floor to hull, then tabbed in. Ive ran into several spots on floors that looked to have never had full glass over.. What your feeling flex on the hull is probably rotten balsa core.. Most also had a single strip of wood running down the...- Check185

1974 what do I have
Looks like you have a mx13.. think they were rated for 75 or 80hp.. but have seen much bigger motors on them.. All depends on what you want to do with the boat..- Check185

Thats what i heard it started out as. When i purchased the boat i asked the GM Dean Renyolds at Checkmate. He said the bottom had been modified and its a completely different deck.. Power for power an outlaw couldn't compete.- Check185

What checkmate boat do i own
It sure looks like one from the side pic.. There is normally a USCG tag rivited to the inside it tells the specs.. Great boats! Looks like yours is in nice shape.. Just finished restoring mine, runs 71 so far with a worn out 79 2.4 200 merc.. I know several guys that have them, great hulls..- Check185
