    New Boat, need help

My all time high with the 150 was 64mph, but I don't think that motor was making the full 150 anymore. I put a nice 3.0l 225 in it and did 80mph before the bay started freezing over, going for low 80's this summer.

    New Boat, need help

Im going to try running a 28p big ear this week hopefully. I was able to turn my small ear to around 5800rpm and could let it live there till I ran out of fuel it was so stable. Pictures of the boat seems like it is flying well but I can not break 60. Put my 26p 4 blade back on and could hit...

    New Boat, need help

Bought a 28" small ear chopper for my boat and ran it this morning. Could turn 5600rpm but I couldn't get it past 60mph. Short of slamming a 200 on the back, what is the recipe for 70mph? I am going to try a 1.87 lower tonight.

    New Boat, need help

Just thought this would be interesting to share. Yesterday I ran a 15 1/4" Bravo One in a 26p on my boat (had to take the zinc off to fit) and I was able to turn it to about 5600-5700 rpm trimmed out all the way. No issues popping the boat up on plane either and I achieved a new top speed of...

    New Boat, need help

Sorry for the lack of photos, but the boat is getting dialed in thanks to the info I found on this forum. Cant seem to break out of the high 50's on gps, but I'm sure its because I am wayyyyy under propped. Only running a 22" Quicksilver of unknown model that came with the boat, hoping to get my...

Anybody located on or near Barnegate Bay with their boat? Me and some of my buddies are looking to find some new boats to go rip around with.

    New Boat, need help

Boat made it in the water! And what a difference in ride! Walks right past 60mph steady as can be and any walking that starts is easy to drive through. Its really pretty crazy how when you get the jack plate and trim dialed in the boat feels like it clicks into the pad and takes off. So in...

    New Boat, need help

I ordered 16' and I think after I route them the same as they are in the other post they will be just about perfect. I would consider the 14' option. I painted my bracket red in hoping I gain about 10hp.

    New Boat, need help

Latest issue has been with the dual steering cables and where they come out in the transom well. Going to need to drill holes and get them in line with the steering tubes.
